This La Ferrari is shiner than most of our bathroom mirrors. Very solid.
Kick Ass super fine work from Malaysia I heard, Gold Kudos
My hero Benjamin, did not win anything, highly commended only.
Highly Commended
Nothing
Ee Keok Lye's Sub Workshop....only silver
This chap hounded me all day tracking me every step ask me not to use my Canon 6D full frame and my multiple L Lenses and use his cheapo f2.5 macro to get same result on his cheap EFS crap that he was holding. He hounded the show everyday telling people what he did for his highly commended sea vixen that is plain Jane paintwork that is 40 years outdated. Somehow, he managed to convince the judge, his blossom pal to get him a silver. With a broken canopy and the folding wings at a damaged angle and clean as a whistle toy shop display.....???? Not sure. Its any wonder why most serious model makers are avoiding the MCON these days. Its created its own demise. Good thing I withdrew my sponsorship.
One heck of a great work in the fishing vessel. Worthy of a win.
Sim Chin Nam's 32nd Tamiya Corsair, highly commended?????
Controversy of the century, Fine Scale Modeller, Hellenic Club and Hyperscale showpiece 32nd Scale Tomcat....highly commended.
Mark's Intruder Silver. No weathering required for MCON to win.
My colour modulated and chipped faded 32nd scale Tamiya Zero.....Bronze, lost to non weathered planes I used to make 30 years ago.
N1K1 Shiden, 600 rivets hand punched to win Bronze. If I kept it simple, with single colour without shading and weathering I would have won gold.
Champion, brand new Greyhound, simple mask and spray. Maybe someone hated Bernard so much they are trying to destroy his business by creating such controversies. This is like what I did 30 years ago.
I think for the future, I will look forward to a viewer's choice champion, as in, one guy one vote per category as to who will win 1st, 2nd and 3rd and the one with the most aggregate votes win the competition with a real time toll meter.
